Black XJD Toddler Bike Helmet, Adjustable – Kids' Protective Helmet

Product details

The XJD Toddler Bike Helmet in black is an adjustable protective helmet for kids aged roughly 1 to 8 years, available in two head-size ranges so you can dial in a safe, comfortable fit — with a tough ABS shell, EPS foam liner, 14 cooling vents and a rear fit dial that grows with your child.

What age and head size is it for?

Suggested ages run from 1 year through 8 years, but head circumference — not age — is what actually determines fit. The helmet comes in two size ranges: X-Small fits heads 18.11–20.08 inches (46–51 cm), suited to toddlers 1–5 years old, and Small fits 20.47–22.05 inches (52–56 cm), suited to kids 5–8 years old. Measure your child's head just above the eyebrows before ordering; a child at the top of one range is often better in the next size up.

Key features

• Impact protection: super-strong injection-molded ABS outer shell paired with a protective EPS foam inner shell for dependable impact performance.
• Adjustable fit dial: turn right to tighten, left to loosen — keep the fit safe and snug as your child grows.
• Comfort: 14 air vents plus integrated bug mesh in the front vents keep young riders cool and cut down on sweat; soft velcro padding feels gentle against little chins.
• Adjustable, flexible strap adapts to different needs for both boys and girls.
• Lightweight: approximately 240 grams (XS), so little necks won't tire.
• Multi-sport: ideal for biking, roller and inline skating, skateboarding and scootering.

Assembly & what's in the box

No assembly required — this helmet comes ready to wear straight out of the box. You get one XJD helmet (black). Model numbers XJD-PG301XS (X-Small) and XJD-PG301S (Small). To fit, place the helmet level on the head, adjust the strap under the chin, then fine-tune with the rear dial until the helmet doesn't shift when your child shakes their head.

Bottom line

If your child's head measures between 46–56 cm (roughly ages 1–8), this helmet covers it — just pick the size by measurement, not age. If your child's head is larger than 22.05 inches, choose an adult or youth-size helmet instead for proper protection.
