Product details

If you're outfitting one kid (or a couple of siblings) for biking, scootering, or skateboarding, the XJD 7-in-1 Kids Helmet & Protective Gear Set gets you everything in a single box: a helmet sized for ages 2 through 13 years, plus elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards — full head-to-wrist coverage in black or blue.

What age and head size is it for?

The fit data lists suggested ages from 2 to 13 years, but the number that really matters for a helmet is head circumference. This set comes in two sizes: M fits 20.47"–22.05" (52–56 cm) and L fits 21.65"–22.83" (55–58 cm). Measure your child's head just above the eyebrows before ordering — if the measurement falls in the 55–56 cm overlap zone, the L gives a bit more growing room, while the M may fit a smaller head more snugly.

What's in the 7-piece set?

Each kit contains seven pieces: 1 kids helmet, 2 elbow pads, 2 knee pads, and 2 wrist guards — enough coverage for biking, skating, scootering, and other outdoor sports.

How protective is the helmet?

The helmet is built with three layers working together: a tough ABS outer shell, a high-density EPS inner shell, and a soft interior lining. That combination absorbs impact energy during falls and helps lower the risk of injury during play. The set is CPSIA compliant and built to strict quality and safety standards, so it meets US requirements for kids' products.

Colors and size options

You can pick from four combinations: Black or Blue, each available in size M (52–56 cm) or size L (55–58 cm). Double-check your color and size selection in the dropdown before checkout — with two overlapping sizes, it's the most common ordering mistake.

Fit and safety tips

A helmet only protects when it fits. After adjusting, the helmet should sit level on the head with the strap buckled snugly under the chin — no more than a finger or two of slack. Have an adult check the fit before every ride, especially with younger kids who tend to loosen straps themselves. Note that the pads in the set protect elbows, knees, and wrists; wrist guards are especially worth using for skateboarding and skating where falls onto outstretched hands are common.

Bottom line: measure your child's head first, then choose M for 52–56 cm or L for 55–58 cm. If you need pads for more than one child or a helmet-only option, you may want to look at XJD's separate helmet listings instead.
