Blue XJD Freestyle BMX Bike, 20-Inch – No Pegs

Product details

The XJD 20-Inch Blue Freestyle BMX is an entry-level BMX bike for boys and girls ages 5 to 12, fitting riders 114–152 cm (roughly 3'9"–5'0") tall. It's built to take a beating: a high-tensile steel freestyle frame, responsive front and rear U-brakes, and wide grippy tires that absorb the hits that come with street, park, and dirt riding.

What age and height is it for?

Verified fit data lists rider height of 114–152 cm and suggested ages of 5 through 12 years for the 20-inch wheel option. XJD also makes an 18-inch version of this freestyle BMX; choose by your child's height rather than age alone. Before the first ride, confirm your rider can mount and dismount steadily, reach the brake levers comfortably, and keep the bike under control. Note: this is the Basic Model—pegs are not included (they can be purchased separately).

Key features

• High-tensile steel freestyle frame: welded freestyle geometry with reinforced joints for an optimal strength-to-weight ratio—built for stunts, park tricks, and dirt riding.
• Single-speed drivetrain: low-maintenance setup with a 165mm crank and 36T chainring on the 20-inch model for smooth, dependable power transfer.
• Front and rear U-brake system: alloy U-brakes with anti-slip hand levers; the dual-pivot design improves modulation for precise speed control during tricks or cruising.
• Wide 20x2.4" tires: extra grip and shock absorption for jumps and rough terrain.
• Adjustable seat height to fit growing riders.
• Color: Blue.

How does the Basic Model compare to the Teen Pro model?

XJD offers two versions of this BMX: the Basic Model (18" and 20", for beginners, pegs not included) and the BMX Teen Pro Model (20", with front and rear brakes, 360° rotation, and 4 pegs). This listing is the Basic 20-inch model—ideal for beginners. If your rider is already progressing to advanced tricks and wants pegs, the Teen Pro may be the better fit.

Assembly & what's in the box

Assembly is rated easy and takes about 10 minutes. The bike ships 85% pre-assembled, and a step-by-step installation video is linked on the product page. Pegs are not included with this Basic Model but can be bought separately.

Safety details

• No training wheels—riders should already be comfortable balancing on two wheels.
• After assembly, an adult should verify fasteners, tire condition, steering, saddle position, and brake response before every ride.
• Use age-appropriate protective equipment (a helmet is essential for freestyle riding) with active adult supervision.

Bottom line: for a rider 114–152 cm tall who's ready to move from sidewalk cruising to freestyle riding, this 20-inch XJD BMX delivers a durable frame and real stopping power at an entry-level price. If your child is under about 114 cm, consider the 18-inch model instead so they can reach the ground and controls comfortably.
